Meet the Interns Lindsey Bishop I am a graduate student in the MSW program at UT Arlington. I am excited to be partnered with Empowering The Masses. I like what this organization stands for and how it meets the community's needs by helping to fill the resource gap. I am intrigued by its multifaceted approach that goes beyond the short-term needs such as the weekly food pantry where I am currently serving, as well as the soft skills training that promote sustainability and self-efficiency for community members. I am interested in learning more about how to grow a small non-profit through asset mapping and how to turn ideas into action. Carolyn Okonkwo I’m honored to be an intern for Empowering The Masses.
