2025 Summer Digital Workshop Cohort 2 Summer Digital Workshop for Teens and Young Adults – Thank You! We’re excited to share that our Summer Digital Workshop for Teens and Young Adults  has wrapped up successfully—and what an incredible experience it was! A heartfelt thank you to Comp-U-Dopt  for providing the training, technology, and expertise that brought this program to life. We’re also incredibly grateful to Progressive Baptist Church  for generously hosting us and supporting our mission every step of the way. This summer Digital Workshop, we worked with an inspiring group of students—many of whom are high schoolers preparing for college. They gained hands-on experience with essential digital tools, built real-world tech skills, and grew in confidence, all within a welcoming, community-centered space. These skills—and access to reliable computers—are critical for their next steps, and we’re proud to be a part of their journey. To everyone who participated, supported, and contributed—thank you for making this program meaningful and memorable. We’re excited for what’s ahead. National Night out A Night to Remember: Celebrating National Night Out with Our Community We had an amazing time celebrating National Night Out  with our wonderful partners, neighbors, and local organizations! It was truly heartwarming to see our community come together for an evening of connection, safety, and fun. A special thank you to the Dallas Police Department  for joining us and helping ensure our neighborhood remains a safe and welcoming place for everyone. Your presence, dedication, and everyday efforts truly make a difference in the lives of so many. We deeply appreciate your continued engagement and commitment to building trust and positive relationships in our community. We also want to extend a big thank you to all the vendors  who participated in this event. Your support, smiles, and services brought so much joy and value to the evening. Thanks to YOU — our incredible community of supporters — we didn’t just reach our $10,000 goal… we passed it! Why This Matters Your generosity directly supports our mission to empower individuals and families in South Dallas through: Workforce training programs like Phlebotomy  and Community Health Worker (CHW)  certifications Fresh, culturally relevant food access through our CommUNITY Market Wrap-around services to remove barriers like childcare, transportation, and technology access Volunteer-led community engagement, public art, and health education This funding allows us to hire a Case Manager  for our market, support more students , and expand our outreach and impact .
